Supervisor – Level 1
GRADE 9 $21.00-$22.73/hr. FLSA (Non-Exempt)
I. QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience
- Associates Degree preferred
- High school diploma or equivalency required
- Some supervisory experience preferred
- Some experience working in human service field
- Experience with OPWDD and/or OMH programs.
Skills

- The ability to climb stairs, bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach and lift items weighing 40 lbs.
- Ability to legally operate a vehicle in NY State
II. RESPONSIBLE TO: Manager
III. MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
- Understand and implement all agency and program policies and
- Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations
- Monitor, evaluate and provide direction to staff
- Ensure that all staff training requirements are met
- Assign staff and maintain adequate staff coverage to meet client/program needs
- Keep Program Manager informed of all pertinent program information
- Represent agency and program in the community and with other
- Monitor that incidents are properly reported and documented per
- Assure adherence to emergency, safety and evacuation policies
- Monitor and advocate for individual rights as needed
- Participate in and successfully complete all required safety training and development activities
- Regular and substantial contact with individuals receiving services
- Perform other job-related activities as directed by Manager
